Website privacy notice

This notice describes the public Alliance Wellness Clinic website. For questions about your patient records or the clinic’s clinical privacy practices, please contact reception and ask for the person responsible for privacy.

Browsing this website

The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting services may process technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and secure the site. This website does not provide a patient login or collect clinical intake information.

Booking and contacting us

Online booking opens Alliance’s separate Jane booking site. Information you enter there is handled through the clinic’s Jane account under the privacy information provided there. Phone and email links open your calling or email service. Please call reception for instructions before sending medical records, claim numbers or other sensitive information by email.

Maps, social media and browser storage

The contact page includes a Google Maps embed, which connects to Google when loaded. Social links open external services; optional Instagram content connects to Instagram when you choose to load it. These services have their own privacy practices. The site uses session storage in your browser to remember its colour theme during your visit.

Analytics

The replacement website currently has no Google Analytics or advertising tag installed. This notice will need updating if tracking is enabled.

To ask about access to or correction of your personal information, the clinic’s privacy practices, or a privacy concern, call (604) 737-1177 or email info@alliancewellness.ca. Please do not include medical details in your initial email. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
