REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY
At Alliance Wellness in Vancouver, we have a team of Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) and other practitioners working together to tailor a treatment plan specific to your health and wellness goals.
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY is
the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body.
The purpose of RMT is to normalize those tissues. The manual techniques consist of applying fixed or movable pressure, and/or causing movement to the body.
Generally, massage is known to affect the circulation of blood and the flow of blood and lymph, reduce muscular tension or flaccidity, affect the nervous system through stimulation or sedation, and enhance tissue healing.
